Hello! I thought I would post something special today, and that’s a tour of my art studio. Maybe I should rename it the Scott Story Art Facility on the Story Studios Campus? No? Ok.
My computer station is overlooked by an old Adam Hughe’s’ poster that I still love. That’s a Bug’s Bunny shirt from “Bugs Bunny at the Symphony.” I spend too much time here. My acrylic painting area. I spend far too little time here. My much lauded Medieval Corner. Not everything here is technically medieval. In reality its a history corner, and there are is some fantasy stuff here too. The chair is a family heirloom. This is a new area, full of file copies of books I’ve worked on, covers I’ve done, pretty much everything I’ve published. I’ve need two more books to complete my cover run. The infamous Art Nook. This is were I spend the most time in here, and it’s where I draw and ink. Another view of the Art Nook. It’s sort of my place of power. My watercolor area. The table is a family heirloom, and that’s an Arthur Adam’s poster hanging in the corner. The ext. Here you can the Superman curtains on the left which cover the entrance to my supplies closet. A Batgirl standee attached to the door (base on John Byrne art), and an antique projector from the 1920’s that still works, even though it’s missing a chimney on top.
There are a lot of toys in this room, as well as owls, superheroes, and great natural light. These days I even have houseplants (not pictured). It’s a great place for me and my studio cats to hang out, listen to podcasts, and be creative.
