oh no! D:
Johnny, always remember that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
@DocSavage I will never understand why anyone thinks it is a good idea to pretty much tell someone it will solve their problem.
Guess I was wrong about Greg being willing to “live with” the bad Doctor’s fate. Even if someone stops him this time, maybe he’ll just wait for another opportunity…
Okay, Greg’s still a giant-sized keg-o-nuts.
Actually, it’s understandable. From his perspective, the man’s been on adrenalin highs for what, like two days now? Coming off them, and probably his cycle also in mid-swing, Greg’s pretty likely to see no hope. If he can just be kept from offing himself for a little while, he’ll soon be too far down in the low part of his cycle to have the energy to work himself up to something like this.
A bipolar guy who’s only been living for revenge all this time, having finally gotten to the point where he can take his revenge, and then having the chance to take the final blow taken away from him… Yeah, I can see how that crash would make someone turn to such things. From his perspective, what point is there to anything now?
If his friends show up before it is too late, expect them to sit him in front of a therapist (finally) and give up the hero thing for a time.
He has proven quite difficult to kill in the past, I wonder if fate would allow him to shoot himself. I just picture the gun jamming, no powers or magic in effect. Just the luck of survival.
Look out, Greg! There’s a Weeping Angel creeping up on you!
Seriously, though, I hope that someone (even the aforementioned Angel) shows up to stop him. As the spouse of someone with bipolar disorder, this is my worst fear, and part of the reason I’ve arranged my life so that I work from home instead of leaving her alone for 8 or more hours at a time.
Please don’t let Greg end this way. Please.
