Drawing these “Escher” Space drawings is a fun challenge, and I’d like to say that I’ve learned a lot more about perspective by breaking the rules. I would also like to note that the last episode, with its flashback, is going to become more common as the comic progresses. That’s because sometimes a lot of issues (and time) go by without mentioning a plot element, and it helps readers to remind them what the heck we’re talking about here. There are a few readers here who know the comic as well as Benita and I do, seemingly, but they are the happy exceptions.

It seems to me I recall reading that some pirates would drink gunpowder in their booze (sometimes after lighting the brew on fire) but whooee mixing gunpowder and coke? o.O
The gunpowder in the booze was used to see if it was watered down. After putting a few bits of powder the ships captain would ignite it with a magnifying glass depending on how much was left would determine the proof.
Supposedly, the gunpowder makes the cocaine even more potent once you get used to it.
I think it also adds to the warrior mindset they brainwash the kids with, after all it’s gunpowder.
