No new episode of “Johnny Saturn” today. Instead, this is the first week of our two month hiatus. We’ll be back in the first week of October.
While we’re gone, we’ll be formatting and publishing the third graphic novel, and adding a bunch of new merchandise to the “Johnny Saturn” Store.

By inker, I assume you mean colorist. I’ve colored most of the comic myself, but I’ve employed 8 or 10 colorists over time to help me keep up.
Two of these colorists were dang good, and I hated to see them go. One was getting so much work from Marvel that he couldn’t keep up with my stuff. The other gave up coloring and changed careers.
I happily would give the coloring job (it pays decently) to anyone who met most of my expectations and had an eye for the details. But, finding and keeping such a pro is harder than you might imagine.
Ad to this the difficulty I have reconciling my freelance work with Johnny Saturn, and the two tone thing is all I’ve been able to keep up with lately.
I quite like it infact, it really draws your eye to the characters.
Yeah, it does that effectively. I like it too, but no decisions have been made. Going from full color to partial is often seen as a drop in quality.
Just as I thought: Team Saturn is about to get another member. And the irony of this move, given how this whole series began, is not lost.
On the other hand, Underhall told Bryan to grow up. Seems as though he’s taken that advice to heart.

To be perfectly honest, I think your inks by themselves are miles beyond ‘sufficient.’ Or, to put it another way: you don’ need no stinking color.
But I know that’s not the vision you have, so color away later.
