Yes. Many kept commenting about Bryan handing over the mace to the Squadron. I was going to be very upset if he did anything that stupid. Sadly, I fear fairly soon that the Utopian and the government-controlled Squadron Supreme are going to be at odds sooner or later (probably sooner). It’s not a good idea to leave the ultimate weapon in the hands of your possible foes.

Squadron Premier. Brain fart. Christ, I don’t even know of a Squadron Supreme unless the red and white costumed dude has made one.

It’s OK, Rob, we’ve all done it. In retrospect, using “squadron” was not as original as it could have been.

Yeah I guess in retrospect, handing over the mace to this new Squadron Premiere would have been a bad idea. Of course, the very fact that Utopian kept the mace could be used as justification by certain nervous government types to send the Squad after him, with the resulting Hilarity ensuing…

Marvel had a Squadron Supreme, they were from an alternative universe and did the story line that they had orginaly planed on doing with a cross over with DC just before DC decided to get rid of all the multipul universes back in the late 70s

could be, that was a long time ago and I pretty much stopped reading around then, I got a bit disgusted when they changed the history and origins of several hundread characters that I had been following for the last 25 years. but the the squadren supreme came into being a while before the crisis. DC pulled out of the agreement a year or two before that because they had planned doing the crisis.
