I love the expressions on Joe’s face, reminds me of Heroes Inc. Which had excellent facial expressions as well.
Also I was a tad sceptical when I heard you we’re bringing a colourist onboard but man this stuff keeps getting better and better. I Love the 2nd and 3rd panels of Joe.
I miss Heroes Inc. I loved Scott’s art.
I knew it was a risk to bring a colorist in after so long, but Rudolf is a really cood colorist. He’s also equally good at pencils and inks.
Although, so as not to confuse anyone, these are my pencils and inks.
This may not make sense, but the vibrant colors almost make everything seem darker. Not darker in the spectral sense, but darker in the emotional sense. It’s almost as if the bright colors are sarcastic. I really like it.
Joe’s face seems a bit small today.
Reverse ps-sycologizing. Don’t start a fight without it.
Making sure, o’ course, your appo oppin the guy you’re going to fight has got a sense of ithics.
And I think the word you’re looking for, Rockidr4, is Eye-roanic. Those bright, cheerful colors is real eye-roanic when you considers the serious thinkin’ going on inside Joe’s bald head, and that Spire City’s going to go kerflooey or something, and that Bryan’s just flown off to watch it all happen instead of doing something about it, which he’s going to get real depressed about if Joe doesn’t stop Thu-Lynn. I agree, it works real well with Scott’s Ps-sycologic-all story.
(And yes, I’m going to stop the Shawn Ogg act before Benita throws a virtual shoe at me.)
(By the way, if Joe becomes a good guy again, will he get his hair back?)
Rats! I had my shoe all poised to throw, too.
Sorry. I’m even more used to getting virtual shoes and vegetables hurled at me than I am at managing to predict the storyline. Much more, in fact. Can’t imagine why. 0:)
I hate it when people throw eggs, those hard boiled ones HURT.
