“Cease fire until I return!” Now that’s thinking like a supervilian. Give the hero a chance to stop you before you deliver the killing blow.
He’s got to get that Dr Evil demerrit badge somehow!
Heh seriously-the smart play would be to send every spare guard after the intruder and promptly vaporize SP Plaza in the meantime. How HAS Wissenschaft lasted this long?
Greg may actually be able to kill him AND survive this.
His actions my seem silly, and maybe they are, but consider W’s monstrous narcissism. Everything in his world is all about him, 24/7, he’s the center of the cosmos to himself.
And he’s still riding the high of backstabbing his goddess to gain youth and power.
But seriously, while this is an incredibly stupid move, it is certainly stupid in a Dr W way.
Though you would think SOMEONE in the JS universe would have read the Evil Overlord list…
I know Wissenschaft seems like a foolish steryotype, but I think everyone vastly underrates him. You don’t have to be sane or wise to be a cancer to the human species.
I get it. Things go according to his plan and his plan alone. There will be no variances. Plus what good is a victory if it can not be enjoyed. I think W would rather be defeated than feel he only had a partial victory. Plus we do not know the extent of his abilities. Eyes could pack more than the old hypno spin. And there was the earlier sword demonstration. I want Greg to live but while there are the same trappings of the old W he is operating on a far greater level. He has gone from street level war lord to national threat like red skull.
Oh no, W is going to use Johnny’s body as a human rocket and fire him at S plaza. Maybe even ride on top of him, steering Johnny’s sword impaled body dead into the center of a giant pane of glass. EPIC splash page. Johnny will have a huge fulfilled smile on his face. Next page, Johnny does a triple gainer and impales W with his own chest.
Rats!! Now we’ll have to change everything.
I love how Wissenschaft gets halfway up the ladder before he thinks to issue any orders.
I really like how the colors pop in this scene, Scott. Can’t tell whether something new has been added, or your technique really shines with the particular combination, but it’s very eye-catching.
Thanks, Rob! That makes my day! I have been getting much more adventurous on on coloring in the last episodes.
