Panel 4) Thu-Lynn barks an order at Nhorgiel
Thu-Lynn) Quiet, beast! Enough of your yammering!
Panel 5) Nhorgiel backs down, obviously cowering and afraid of the ancient sorceress.
Nhorgiel: Oh, why did it have to be you! You’re a cruel task-master!
Panel 6) Thu-Lynn barks another order, this time to Tara, who stands behind her spear in hand.
Thu-Lynn) Now, puppet! Run him through!
Panel 7) Tara lunges, a close-up.
Panel 8) Close-up of Nhorgiel as a terror, shock, and surprise erupts across his face.

Hmmm…cliffhanger Friday. And that angle did NOT look like it was aimed at the FLOOR…
For some reason I find myself humming "You Got the Gold Mine, I got the Shaft."
looks to me like it could target the gray witch…
You know, even though he is an ass, I'm kinda starting to feel for the bastard.
I mean, this has got to be the crappiest year ( I think ) of his existence.
The more I look at the second panel, the more I think you may be onto something, Zem. That sort of double cross would be just like Wissenschaft, wouldn't it?
Meanwhile, it's no dice trying to make us feel sorry for Norghiel, Scott. We all know he digs being treated like this, just like he loved every minute of Synn consuming him (btw, the jest of a demon consumed by sin was not lost on me). In fact, if Zen is right, I'm guessing that's an expression of disappointment in the last panel.
I suspect Norghiel's a liar, too. I know, duh! he's a demon, but I suspect it goes way beyond the job description. If there's anywhere with more thoughtless cruelty than dear olde Earth (assuming, of course, all the cruelty in Hell is part of an overall program), I don't want to know about it. Norgy should feel right at home.
I hope she gets both of them.
